British producer duo Jungle take another big step towards the August 11th release of their eagerly anticipated fourth album ‘VOLCANO’ by sharing the new single “Dominoes”. The album’s lead single Candle Flame(featuring Erick The Architect) became a radio hit upon release worldwide and is now approaching 8 million streams on digital platforms.

“Dominoes” is just as immediate. Its sparkling guitar motif, looping soulful vocal and warm organic instrumentation replicates the exuberance of Jungle’s famous live show and soundtracks the Summer. Fans can listen to “Dominoes” here: jungle.ffm.to/dominoes

The “Dominoes” visual delivers precisely what you want from the multifaceted creative world of Jungle – expressive, inventive, eye-catching one-take choreography that brings a physical language to the music. Directed, as ever, by J Lloyd & Charlie Di Placido of Contentus Maximus, the video segues seamlessly from “Candle Flame” and drops a teaser as to what to expect from their future track release, “I’ve Been In Love”.

The ‘VOLCANO’ album will represent a leap forward for Jungle. Not only embracing their position in the music community by drawing upon their broadest array of featured collaborators to date, but their innovative production expertise means that almost every single note you hear on the album is entirely original – it features just one sample. The result is an inspiring, life-affirming experience that will provide communal joy on the dancefloor as well as personal escapism through headphones.

The free-spirited energy that runs right through ‘VOLCANO’ reflects how organically it came together. J and T had written most of the record on tour before starting the recording process while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles. It was later completed back home in London at their favourite location, Studio B at Metropolis Studios. This time around, the duo wanted to include a wider variety of voices within the album.

In addition to Erick The Architect, they reunited with Bas (who previously featured on the ‘Loving In Stereo’ album’s single “Romeo”) for “Pretty Little Thing”, as well as calling on talents in the shape of Roots Manuva, Channel Tres and JNR Williams.

The ‘VOLCANO’ cover art continues the elegant, minimalism that has graced the front of each of their previous three records. Once again, the core graphic design remains the same, but the palette has shifted to reflect the album’s sonic style, this time with a rich warmth that complements the production and its summer ambience.

Jungle are lifelong friends from Shepherd’s Bush, London. Their self-titled breakthrough debut album became an instant classic, leading to a Mercury Prize nomination, which they followed with the album ‘For Ever’ before amplifying their success with ‘Loving In Stereo’ – all contributing to a total of over a billion streams to date and received widespread acclaim and support across Asia, with top radio stations and tastemakers such as Prambors (ID), MTV Asia, Clockenflap (HK), LINE Today Indonesia, Sepsakon (TH) and more.

Their extended live band has made them firm festival favourites, drawing huge crowds at Coachella and Lollapalooza Brazil, while headline shows have included Alexandra Palace and multiple nights at the O2 Academy Brixton. Their visionary stylised and choreographed videos are also a major aspect of Jungle’s artistic identity, most notably with the ambitious visual narrative that spanned every track on ‘Loving In Stereo’.
