Two brothers, aunt nabbed with P88-K ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Police arrested two brothers and their aunt in a buy-bust operation that yielded 13 grams of suspected shabu worth P88,400 in Barangay 5, Silay City, Negros Occidental yesterday.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, city police chief, identified the subject as Bernard Arturo, 26, of Barangay 2.

His companions were his younger brother Alfred, 22, and their aunt Jenny Pada-on, 36, both residents of Barangay 2.

Darroca said that Bernard was previously arrested for a drug offense and reportedly returned to engaging in the illegal drug trade.

Bernard is a high value individual, while his younger brother is a street level individual. Their aunt is a newly-identified individual, according to the police.

Also confiscated by police from them were the P3,500 marked money, a lighter, and other non-drug items.
