IBPAP and Great Place To Work® launch Philippines Best Workplaces™ in IT-BPM

The IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and Great Place To Work® Philippines make history with the launch of Philippines Best Workplaces™ in IT-BPM, the country’s first industry list that celebrates people-first IT-BPM organizations with high-trust and high-performance cultures.

“This is a milestone partnership, one that showcases why the IT-BPM sector is one of the most dynamic in the Philippines,” said Jack Madrid, IBPAP President and CEO. “At the heart of the industry is the Filipino talent delivering world-class customer experiences over the past decades. This is the result of our sector’s work environments where people are empowered to achieve personal and professional growth.”

The list features 30 Great Place To Work Certified™ organizations that scored the highest after being evaluated using the For All™ Model and Methodology, which looks into whether “every single employee, no matter who they are or what they do for their company, is having a consistently positive experience at work.”

The list was unveiled on July 10, 2023 during the Third Quarter General Membership Meeting (GMM) of IBPAP at Shangri-La The Fort. With the theme, “The Art of Fostering Great Employees,” the event served as an awarding ceremony for Philippines Best Workplaces in IT-BPM. Bhavana Chauhan, Country Manager of LinkedIn Philippines, was also in attendance to speak about the Philippine talent landscape and the top in-demand skills in the country.

“I am thrilled to announce that we will honor 30 outstanding companies as the inaugural Philippines Best Workplaces in IT-BPM. These companies pursue the industry’s 2028 roadmap by creating high-trust workplace cultures,” said Antoniette Mendoza-Talosig, Managing Partner at Great Place To Work Philippines.

“They maximize their human potential through leadership effectiveness, values, and trust. With these, innovation and financial growth take place. These are the characteristics of a Great Place To Work For All or what we call a For All culture.”

With more than 500,000 IT-BPM employees represented in the Great Place To Work surveys from January 2022 to May 2023, data shows that 94% of employees in Best Workplaces experience a high-trust workplace culture. This is only true for 84% of the employees in typical organizations.

“Each of these IT-BPM companies exemplifies what the sector is all about—great workplaces make great people and great people make great workplaces. IBPAP takes pride in the fact that they are part of our vibrant industry, and that 16 of the 30 organizations included in the list are our esteemed members,” Mr. Madrid added.
