The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recently hosted the “Amazing DTI Business Name (BN) Registration Awards and Recognition,” to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of BN Processors who demonstrated remarkable performance in 2022.
The event took place on July 25, 2023, at Rizal Park Hotel in Manila, where BN processors from various regions attended to receive well-deserved accolades.
The awards ceremony comprised five esteemed categories, honoring individuals who showcased excellence and dedication as BN processors which delivered great results and positive impact to the BN Registration Program.
The event recognized the following categories: BN Most Valuable Processor, Webinar Top Notchers, Top Collecting Officer, Best BN Processor, and Best BN Focal Person.
Leading the pack of awardees is Kurt Maurice Tugaff of DTI Iloilo Provincial Office who clinched not one but two prestigious awards – the Best Business Name Focal Person and the BN Most Valuable Processor (MVP) for Visayas.
The Best Business Name Processor per Province Awardees are Christine Mae Hilario-Jaurique from Aklan, Sheryl Dioteles from Negros Occidental, Charie Joy Taganos from Iloilo, Maria Bianka Lou Metchaler from Antique, and Fe Tumangan from Guimaras.
Jaurique was also hailed as Webinar Topnotcher-Valedictorian.
The Amazing DTI BNR Awards and Recognition not only recognized these outstanding individuals but also served as a platform to inspire and motivate other BN Processors to aim for excellence in their roles.
The event was a celebration of the crucial role BN Processors play in supporting business growth and development in their respective regions.
DTI Region 6 OIC Regional Director Ermelinda Pollentes said, “The DTI Region 6 team extends our congratulations and gratitude to all the awardees for their steadfast commitment to provide exceptional service to our clients in Region 6. We take great pride in acknowledging these frontliners who have surpassed expectations as BN processors.”
