Continuing its mission to provide seamless financial services to Filipinos nationwide, GCash, the country’s number one finance super app, has entered into a partnership with M Lhullier, the largest non-bank financial services network in the Philippines, by expanding their GCash cash-in and cash-out (CICO) services to over 3,000 M Lhuillier branches nationwide.
Through the expanded partnership, more users across the Philippines will have access to cash-in services of up to Php 8,000 with no extra fees at any of M Lhuillier’s branches nationwide. Cash-out transactions, on the other hand, are subject to a minimum 2% fee for amounts in excess of Php 8,000.00 per month.
“Our goal here is simple – make Filipino lives easier, more convenient, and more secure. We cannot think of a better way to do this than by teaming up with M Lhuillier, which has been serving millions of Filipinos for decades. We are excited to bring accessible and safe cash-in and cash-out services to more Filipinos through this partnership. With its extensive coverage in the country, we are looking forward to further increasing our customer base so that more users can enjoy safe, secure, and hassle-free cashless transactions daily,” said Ren-Ren Reyes, president, and CEO of G-Xchange, Inc. (GXI), the mobile wallet operator of GCash.
Likewise, the availability of GCash CICO services will also be beneficial to the customers of M Lhuillier, whose collaboration with GCash makes it one of the e-wallet’s biggest partners for money transfers and other financial services.
“This collaboration further strengthens our position as a trusted and innovative financial service provider in the country. We look forward to empowering more people with seamless access to digital transactions and contributing to the financial inclusion of more Filipinos. We are excited to embark on this journey of transforming how people manage their finances. Our shared vision and dedication will enhance the accessibility and convenience of financial services across the country,” M Lhuillier president and CEO Michael Edward Lhuillier said.
Together with its partners, GCash continues to work for a future where financial services are accessible for every Filipino, especially the unbanked and underserved sector, as the nation shifts into a cash-lite society.
“Our strengthened partnership with M Lhuillier is in line with our vision of achieving ‘Finance for All’. Together, we enable more Filipinos across the country to have access to innovative digital financial solutions when they cash in, such as fair lending, savings, insurance, and other digital lifestyle hacks,” noted Reyes.
