P752,500 lost to Mambusao fire

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Around P752,500 worth of properties went up in smoke after a fire gobbled five stalls of a commercial establishment on December 31, 2023 at Villareal Highway in Barangay Poblacion Tabuc, Mambusao Capiz.

Investigation by Senior Fire Officer 2 Donaldo Marquez, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Mambusao chief, indicated that the establishment was owned by Rosario Arboleda and Alvin Nuñez.

The fire erupted around 11.32 p.m. and was declared out by 1:09 a.m. on January 1, 2024.

A bakery, a home depot, a roast chicken stall, and two vacant stalls were totally burned.

Fire trucks from BFP-Mambusao, Ivisan, Dumarao, Sapian, Dao, Sigma, Cuartero, Jamindan, Tapaz, Dumalag, Roxas City and Panitan responded to the fire incident.

No one was hurt in the incident. Arson investigators are still trying to determine the cause of fire.
