Top realtors and emerging industry leaders in Iloilo City welcomed their new set of officers and Member-Directors of the Board.
United under the Iloilo City Realtors Board Inc. (ICRB), outgoing President Elizabeth Belmonte and incoming President Joan Ruth Cabansagan led this year’s ceremony.
Highlight of the ICRB event was the announcement of Leadership Excellence Awardees from the roster of its members and officers.
The ICRB is Iloilo’s sole professional organization of licensed realtors and brokers.
The Board has since been in the forefront of pushing for implementation and support of the Republic Act 9646 otherwise known as the Real Estate Service Act (RESA).
Among those advocated by the group under the RESA Law is the prevalent illegal practice of advertisements selling and offering the lease of properties by unlicensed personalities.
2024 new set of Officers and Members of the Board will be led by ICRB President Joan Ruth Cabansagan who takes over the dynamic leadership of 2023 President Elizabeth Belmonte.
Guest of honor was Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas represented by Councilor Jay Treñas.
The Mayor in his message relayed his acknowledgement of the service of the ICRB as integral to the city’s continued development.
This, as Iloilo City being highly urbanized has since cemented its niche in the business and real estate community of Iloilo and Western Visayas region.
