The Chery Tiggo Crossovers orchestrated a commanding victory over the newly-formed Capital1 team, delivering a straight-set defeat, 25-6, 25-15, 25-15, during the Premier Volleyball League’s (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on February 20, 2024, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

This win marks Chery Tiggo’s first triumph of the conference.

Dominating from the outset, Chery Tiggo immediately showcased their superiority, limiting Capital1 to a mere six points in the opening set with a display of efficient offensive plays and disciplined defense.

Capital1 managed to increase their output in the second set, adding nine more points than their initial effort. However, the Crossovers maintained their intense pace and overwhelming power, proving to be insurmountable for the PVL newcomers.

The third set saw Chery Tiggo sealing the match convincingly, pulling away midway to ensure there would be no comeback for Capital1.

Ara Galang shone brightly in her debut for Chery Tiggo, contributing 12 points, including 10 attacks, two service aces, and a block. Aby Maraño, joining Galang from their previous team, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, made her presence felt with six points.

Mylene Paat, continuing her stellar performance from the last PVL conference, ended the game with 11 points, showcasing her consistency as a key player for the team.

Looking ahead, the Crossovers are set to continue their campaign with momentum on their side, aiming for a second consecutive win against the Strong Group Athletics on February 24, 2024, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
