Creamline Cool Smashers superstar outside hitter Tots Carlos is ready to embark on a new journey after submitting an application to join the Korean Volleyball League Asian Quota Draft confirmed on April 15, 2024.

Carlos is one of the 36 hopefuls that are seeking to play in the Korean V. League and is aiming to follow in the footsteps of Petro Gazz middle blocker MJ Phillips.

Phillips, the former superstar of the Petro Gazz Angels, became the fifth overall pick during last year’s draft and was selected by the Gwangju Al Peppers.

Following her stint with Gwangju, Phillips will once again attempt to enter the 2024 Korean V. League Draft and will be in the same batch as Carlos.

After years of dominant run in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) with the Cool Smashers, Carlos will now be testing the international waters. If drafted during the ceremony, this will be the first time that she will be playing outside the Philippines.

Currently, the former UP Fighting Maroon ace spiker is still playing for the Cool Smashers in the ongoing PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Carlos quickly turned heads after rendering her services to Creamline, helping the winningest PVL club clinch four championship titles while also holding the league record for the most single points made in a game.

The former three-time PVL Most Valuable Player (MVP) steered the Creamline Cool Smashers to a close four-set victory over the Akari Chargers, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, and flirted with a dominant 31-point performance on February 29, 2024.

Carlos was all over the floor scoring in bunches for the Cool Smashers and capped off her 31 points derived from 30 successful attacks and one service ace.

With enough achievements on her resume both on the national and international stage, Carlos is hopeful that her name will be called once the Korean V. League draft begins.
