The Iloilo City Basketball Club (ICBC) will be having five new competing franchises in the upcoming second conference set to kick off this August 10, 2024, at the Monterosa Subdivision basketball gym, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
After eight total teams in the first conference, the ICBC committee welcomed the addition of FABS Place Pet Grooming, Aquasure, Game Changer x Alcoballics, Japan Pasabuy, and D Cars x Espanta Sportswear.
With five new teams ready to vie for the coveted ICBC championship title, this second conference of the year will feature 11 total teams that will grace the opening ceremony.
Completing the confirmed teams in the second conference are Avescor x Alcoballics, Selecta x ECA, BACFIRE Industrial Supplies, CVV Wheels x Adring’s Lechon, Red Hammer x Blueprint Sportswear, and BBC Basketball.
According to ICBC founder Mr. Peter Oñate, several notable names that will play in this second conference are Lee Teruel, RJ Diaz, and Lee Lataquin.
During the first conference, Avescor Motors came out on top and became the first champions of the ICBC this year.
It was an impressive and dominant run for Avescor after finishing the whole season with an undefeated win-loss record.
However, this second conference will be more interesting as the other participating teams also upgraded their roster with hopes of a championship campaign.
