USAID remains committed to education by supporting the Department of Education (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela 2024. USAID, through ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines project, has distributed over 110,000 learning packages to schools across various DepEd divisions in regions of Cordillera Administrative Region and SOCCSKSARGEN.
This effort included providing 11,848 Early Grade Reading Materials (EGRMs) to the DepEd Schools Division of Baguio City, and 98,387 EGRMs to the DepEd schools divisions of General Santos City, South Cotabato, and Sarangani.
