This prestigious award recognizes Sugiri’s significant contributions as a leader and mentor in the field of information technology, not just in Indonesia but on a global scale.
His career, which began in 1983 as an IT general manager at Bank Bali, includes founding pivotal companies like PT Sigma Cipta Caraka in 1989 and PT Indointernet Tbk in 1994.
Currently, Sugiri serves as the President Director of PT DCI Indonesia Tbk.
During the ceremony, Sugiri, who also served as the event’s guest speaker, imparted valuable advice to the graduates of CMDI Bay Campus.
He emphasized the importance of being a good person who adds value to others, embracing failures as learning opportunities, and dreaming big without settling for less.
Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip, CARD MRI Founder and Chairman Emeritus, highlighted Sugiri’s impact on CARD MRI, noting that his work has significantly enhanced the accessibility of innovative technologies for both clients and staff.
“The life and career of Pak Toto will inspire graduates to create a better and stronger future,” Alip stated.
