ver the years, the pension fund has expanded its certifications to cover various processes, including membership administration, maturity claims, motor vehicle claims, data center management, funeral benefits, and non-life insurance campaigns.
The certification also includes the renewal of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) surety bonds, the issuance of transfer certificates of title for fully-paid housing accounts, data center facilities management, and marketing for the renewal of all bidding documents.
“Digitization has played a crucial role in enhancing our processes through the GSIS Touch Mobile Application, online Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR), the recent launch of the digital ID, and our enterprise architecture consulting services project in collaboration with SGV and Ernst & Young,” said GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso.
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS), ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems.
“GSIS remains committed to providing the best customer experience to our members, pensioners, and both internal and external stakeholders. We continue to adhere to international standards for quality management, innovation, and the delivery of timely and efficient services to all government workers,” Veloso added.
In 2021, GSIS expanded its certifications to include PCSO surety bonds and the issuance of notices to claim transfer certificates for housing accounts.
In 2023, the pension fund further broadened its certified processes to encompass three major branch offices located in Luzon (Laguna), Visayas (Tacloban), and Mindanao (General Santos).
