Two Manila-based companies, Craft Shack, Inc. and Artbi Global Philippine Corporation, have committed to providing free public Wi-Fi in Iloilo Province.

Charles Leighton Chianpian of Craft Shack, Inc. and Jibeom Ku of Artbi Global Philippine Corporation formalized the agreement by signing a Deed of Donation on August 29 with Governor Arthur Defensor Jr.

Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, ICTMO’s Maribeth Daquilanea, Board Members Rolando Distura and Domingo Oso, and several municipal mayors attended the signing ceremony.

The initiative includes donating essential infrastructure, such as routers, devices, and other equipment, to enable free public Wi-Fi throughout the province.

The service will cover the vicinity of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, municipal halls, barangay halls, and other public areas.

ICTMO will manage the identification of installation sites. The Deed of Donation is valid for three years, with an option for a three-year renewal.
