Philippines’ Best Dressed Women and Men of Influence Presented

The Philippines’ Best Dressed Women and Men of Influence 2024 were recently unveiled at an exclusive private shopping party at Roger Vivier in Greenbelt, Makati.

The event celebrated some of the country’s most influential personalities, including two distinguished Ilonggo honorees, Dr. Rollin Tabuena and Dr. Ma. Daisy Tabuena, who made their debut on this prestigious list.

The Tabuena couple joins a select group of 20 remarkable women and eight men recognized for their achievements across various fields, such as medicine, arts, and business.

Among the honorees were Anna Orlina, Ces Rodriguez, Antonette Gutierrez, Michelle Takijima, Ces Miranda, Jill Tan, Dr. Maricar Threadgill, Doyee Tumpalan, and Ina Sarosa.

Consul Helen Ong, chair of the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines (BDWP), warmly welcomed the guests, along with fellow board members Consul Betty Chua, Flora Chua, Sheree Chua, Eisa Mercado, Mario Katigbak, Froilan Gonzales, Charlie Rufino, Bo Muralla, Maymay Liechtenstein, Dr. Mildred Vitangcol, Agnes Huibonhua, Elaine Rojas Villar, and Consul Marian Ong.

The selection committee for 2024-2025 included David and Mache Ackerman, Yoli Ayson, Ruby Chua, Mags Cue, AJ Olpindo, Anna Sia, and Agile Zamora.

For over two decades, this highly anticipated affair has been a cherished event in Manila’s high society. It has evolved from humble beginnings into a national fundraiser. Last year, the event raised ₱22 million, which was donated to the Philippine Cancer Society.

The grand highlight of this year’s event, the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines Awards Ball and Men of Influence 2024, will take place on September 20, 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. The ball supports the Philippine Cancer Society’s mission to assist cancer patients through financial aid, education, community projects, and research for cancer control programs.
