On the court, he was the PBA’s Best Import, but off the court, he’s even more extraordinary.

Rondae Hollis- Jefferson, TNT Tropang Giga’s reinforcement who was recently crowned as the PBA Governor’s Cup Best Import of the Conference, decided to share his cash prize with the Alagang Kapatid Foundation announced on November 8, 2024.

The official Tropang Giga social media page confirmed Hollis-Jefferson’s helpful gesture several weeks ago, following the thousands of families affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine several weeks ago.

Alagang Kapatid Foundation was the same organization that supervised the PBA’s help, where they donated their Game 1 ticket sales to the victims of the typhoon.

Aside from the Typhoon Kristine victims, Hollis-Jefferson’s prize money will also benefit those affected by the recent Typhoon Marce in Cagayan and Batanes.

Just like the operation between the PBA and the foundation in their relief program for Typhoon Kristine, Alagang Kapatid will be responsible for breaking down his help through a broadcast report, including the monetary liquidation.

The former NBA talent won a total of 50,000 pesos, the same cash prize that June Mar Fajardo won as the conference’s Best Player of the Conference.

This is already Hollis-Jefferson’s second consecutive PBA Best Import award, with the first coming from his debut year with TNT where he helped the franchise clinch the title.

So far, in the ongoing Governor’s Cup Finals, the leftie star is leading the Tropang Giga with 24.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals.
