ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two individuals were charged Friday morning, November 15, following their arrests in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by police the previous day.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against Christian Barrosa, 31, and Kenjie Baria, 19, both residents of Barangay Banica, before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
Barrosa was arrested in Barangay Lawaan after handing over a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer during a drug bust.
Authorities also recovered 17 additional sachets of suspected shabu, a sling bag, a motorcycle, and PHP 10,500 in buy-bust money from Barrosa.
Police said Barrosa had previously been arrested for the same offense and was released in 2019.

Seized from Baria were three sachets of suspected shabu and PHP 1,500 in buy-bust money, consisting of a genuine PHP 100 bill and PHP 1,400 in boodle money.
