Impeaching Sara: Useless ‘Intelligence’ and Officials

By Reni M. Valenzuela

“I do not suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.” – Edgar Allan Poe

We can understand the reaction of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to Vice President Sara Duterte’s earlier vilification of his deceased father (a former Philippine president), but not the reaction of his lawmaker sister who seems to be awkwardly “neutral” until now. Discomfiting. Queer.

I wonder what Senator Imee’s definition of a friend is. If the vice president would say the same profane, defaming, desecrating thing about my beloved, heroic father who incidentally was buried also at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani, I could possibly not forgive her if Christ is not in my heart.

Here she goes again, threatening BBM publicly. Blatant. Brazen.

There is no denying and justifying by anyone (not even Sara herself) that may belie, alter or soften the hard, eerie truth of the “spirit and letter” underneath the vice president’s open threats.

And there is no denying too of the fact that the government’s intelligence arm has been busily doing a lot that are nothing but equal to nothing — as it projects and continues to project itself (capably, correctly and clearly) to be futile and useless. A case in point is General Bantag who is just in the country, but they cannot locate, find and arrest him, and (alas!) it has been years already. Snore.

Pathetic, our Justice Secretary can only go as far as reporting to congressional hearings the anomalies in the New Bilibid Prison and then afterward show himself helpless to address/solve the problem. What happened, sir, to the 34 missing sabungeros and their families that still cry out for justice? What does justice mean to you or what does the word justice in the name of the department that you head truly means?

“What is happening to our country, general?” – Former Vice President Emmanuel Pelaez (1915-2003)

What intelligence the government’s “intelligence” agencies possess, using whatever “possession” (not devil possession) that may be, utilizing their massive billions of pesos in “intelligence” funds or “budget” (“badget”)? If you are not lunatic, it is impossible that you will not be able to answer (with saneness) that one simple but compelling question — for you to do what you must, beloved officials of the three pillars of our fake democracy – executive, legislative and judiciary.

Paano ba nakikinabang ang ating bansa sa kanila, maliban sa paraang nakikinabang sila mula sa kaban ng bayan sa pamamagitan ng kanilang “misyon” (at “budget”)? How does the country benefit from our “intelligence” officials and cohorts besides how they benefit from their “budget,” courtesy of their “mission” and the equally useless, brainless people in the government that gave them the “budget” and approved it?

What is their use? And what more that the president no less is now the one being threatened by the vice president who seems to be running amuck like a cry baby?

Oh, that adds up well (solidly) to the grounds our congressmen already have for VP Sara to be impeached. Our present representatives in the Lower House, by the way, are proving themselves to be representing the interest and welfare of the Filipino people.  Resulting political favors for them are just consequential.

Some of them seem to be emerging as real public servants as compared to those in the Senate, most of whom (alas!) are good only at acting and “pa-pogi,” projecting (or campaigning) themselves to the public like they are promoting a movie; some of them are fighting tooth and nail (selfishly, like toddlers) for their respective local turfs (small world), and for their varied private businesses, political and vested interests (crazy world) — when they should be fighting for the motherland, the whole country, and our entire populace as senators of the Republic. Dwarfs.

They have no business sitting where they are seated — in the halls of power. Clowns and mannequins. Reject all “sleeping,” lame and “speechless” incumbent politicians on election day, dear Filipino electorates, come May 2025 national elections and every election thereafter. We never knew where some of them stood and stand on highly critical issues of national concern. Or perhaps we just never knew and will never ever know when will they get up from deep slumber. Worse, many of them are up and standing, yes, but standing wrongly and despicably.

Truth be told, VP Sara’s deafening silence on the West Philippine Sea crisis from day one is and should be good enough a reason/ground for the government to act on the matter — on impeaching her. Otherwise, the government is the one that would need to be impeached.

But what indeed is the use of the “intelligence” funds or the “intelligence” arm of the government, beyond political, personal and corruption uses/purposes? Forrest Gump is a lot better. He stole no government money and he had no “budget” allocated for him — yet he was able to accomplish great things and made great headways in achieving (successfully) his life’s impossible mission, notwithstanding his mental handicap — as opposed to what BBM’s wealthy “intelligence community” has done (or done nothing).

Such a waste and derangement. TRAPO (rags).

Ridiculous, instead of focusing on the criminals, syndicates, smugglers, pushers, traffickers, scammers, etc., in society as well as the plunderers, thieves, crooks, murderers, wolves, sharks, vultures, crocodiles, alligators, and the soulless in “public service,” they are engrossed in monitoring government critics, freedom/oppression-fighters, people-lovers, well-meaning activists and the political opposition — with the chief purpose of making their masters (or benefactors) remain in power forever and ever. Halle-“logo”!

Instead of looking for the culprits, criminals and “terrorists,” they are trying so hard to look for the mote/speck of those who saw the massive specks that enshroud their faces — in order that they may have (so they think) a “defense” or alibi against those who saw/discovered their specks, they who may expose them for their misdeeds, sins, rottenness and foolishness. And, wonderful (for them), it’s all “budget”-related.

Will you go to Disneyland to search the whole place there in order to locate and find Adolf Hitler? Parang ganun eh.

You don’t even need to search for Hitler, mga kapatid, if you don’t have the need (yourself) to search for your own sanity (and soul), and if you don’t have “budget” to love, care and work so hard for. Paranoid. What you’ve been doing have nothing to do with security or national security, but insanity. Mask down.

My unsolicited advice: Seek God first: “Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near.” – Isaiah 55:6. Oh, the “intelligence” of the government’s intelligence arm

Useless, maddeningly.
