The suspect, identified as “Harry,” 43, of Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, was apprehended at the entrance gate of East Village Executive Homes in Barangay Santo Domingo, Cainta.

Members of the Cabatuan Municipal Police Station tracked Harry’s location after years of evasion following his indictment for two counts of rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code.

The suspect also faces four counts of acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code and one count of rape by sexual assault under Article 266-A, Paragraph 2, as amended by Republic Act 8353.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Redentor Eugenio Esperanza of Regional Trial Court Branch 76 in Janiuay, Iloilo, on April 28, 2023.

Harry is listed as the sixth most wanted person in Western Visayas.

Authorities reported that the sexual assault incidents occurred in Cabatuan, Iloilo, more than three years ago.
