BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office organized an outreach and gift-giving program in celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) on February 26, 2025.
The event was held at Saint Vincent’s Home for the Aged in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, with the theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System.”
PSA employees and staff conducted various activities, including gift-giving and food-sharing, benefiting 26 elderly residents of Saint Vincent’s Home.
The program also featured entertainment through songs, dances, and other performances to bring joy to the residents.
Donations, including grocery packages and hygiene kits, were distributed as part of the event.
The initiative is part of PSA’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at fostering companionship, belongingness, and a sense of community among the elderly.
On behalf of PSA Negros Occidental, Statistical Analyst Hanah G. Gapiz expressed gratitude to Saint Vincent’s Home for their partnership.
PSA hopes to sustain the program for future CRM celebrations, strengthening its commitment to community engagement and support.
