The Bureau of Fire Protection-Bacolod has named the winners of the 3rd Mayor Albee Benitez Fire and Rescue Olympics 2025.
In the barangay category, the Community Fire Auxiliary Group of Barangay Villamonte was declared champion.
CFAG Barangay Tangub finished as first runner-up, while CFAG Barangay Pahanocoy placed second runner-up.
In the company category, Ayala Malls Capitol Central Fire Brigade took the top spot.
Vallacar Transit Inc. (Ceres Liner Fire Brigade) was named first runner-up.
In the high school division, Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School emerged as champion.
Abkasa National High School was first runner-up, and Bacolod City National High School was second runner-up.
Fire Officer 2 Paul Servano, BFP-Bacolod spokesperson, said the champions in the barangay and company categories received PHP20,000 each.
The school category champion received PHP15,000.
The barangay and company competitions were held at Megaworld Upper East.
The school category was conducted at the Old Airport in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Awarding ceremonies for the barangay and company categories were held on March 28.
The school category awarding followed on March 31.
