Calvin Abueva and his teammates from the Phoenix Fuel Masters donated part of their salaries to our country’s frontliners by donating personal protective equipment (PPE) and relief goods.
Last weekend, Abueva and his squad gave PPEs to Pasig City which is one of the most highly-efficient local government units because of their quick response amid COVID-19 matters.
After they gave out PPEs, they then went to San Juan City to hand out relief packages through its mayor, Francis Zamora, this Wednesday.
Phoenix’s team manager, Paolo Bugia, said that what they gave is just a small way of thanking the frontliners for their tireless effort to make the Philippines safe amid the pandemic.
Bugia and Abueva was joined by the Fuel Master’s team governor, Raymond Zorilla, during the turnover of the relief packages to mayor Zamora.
Currently, Abueva is still giving out free meal packs to tricycle and trisikad drivers near his restaurant, Dampa ni The Beast.
