The Adamson Lady Falcons put in a collective effort to clinch game one of the 2019 PVL Collegiate Conference Finals against the UST Golden Tigresses in a thrilling five-setter victory, 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, 21-25, 15-11.
With the equal distribution of attacks from the Lady Falcons, UST’s net defense was on their heels all night trying to solve the Falcons’ offensive scheme.
Trisha Genesis delivered a performance for the ages, covering up the statsheet with 21 huge points, 20 excellent receptions, and 16 wonderful sets.
The mix of veterans with the young core of Adamson proved to be efficient and allowed them that push towards the end of the game as the young guns looked to fill-in for the exhausted vets, stepping up to the challenge in trading blows with superstar Eya Laure of UST.
Ceasa Pinar also contributed to the Adamson win, chalking up 16 markers and a ton of angled attacks that cruised past the UST net defense.
National team member Laure led UST with her 19 points and 25 excellent sets but was not enough to contain a sizzling hot Adamson squad.
