The Adamson Baby Falcons stunned the powerhouse Ateneo Blue Eaglets squad, 84-75, in the UAAP Season 82 boys’ basketball stepladder semifinals.

Going into the game as the underdogs, the Baby Falcons put on one of the most scintillating offensive displays in the UAAP juniors’ playoffs.

Jake Figueroa showed the entire building that he was deserving of the MVP award as he brought the house down with his 13-point second-half performance while grabbing 22 huge rebounds in the win.

The boys from Katipunan eventually came in hot and cruised to a 20-6 scoring avalanche in the opening quarter, bullying the smaller Adamson frontcourt.

However, John Erolon of Adamson went waxing-hot and helped them get back from a 14-point deficit to a 41-40 lead in the third frame.

Erolon finished the game with 16 huge points, 5 boards, and 5 assists while Adamson triggermen Ruzzell Dominguez and Nicole Quinal contributed 13 points apiece.
