AIA Philippines has partnered with Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) to bring health and wellness education to thousands of Filipino students through the AIA Healthiest Schools (AHS) program.
The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of agreement signing ceremony held on March 4, 2025.
The AHS program, which supports AIA’s broader “Rethink Healthy” campaign, aims to promote holistic well-being among students by expanding access to health education in schools across the country.
Through this partnership, AIA Philippines and KCFI will extend the AHS program to 10,000 public schools within the Knowledge Channel network.
The initiative will deliver health-focused content via free-to-air and cable television, satellite, and online platforms to ensure accessibility in even the most remote communities.
KCFI will produce a series of nine 10-minute educational episodes on essential health topics such as healthy eating, active living, and mental well-being.
The scope of the content will follow recommendations from the Department of Education and will target upper primary students nationwide.
“We are thrilled to partner with AIA Philippines to bring the AIA Healthiest Schools program to more young Filipinos in the country,” said KCFI President and Executive Director Rina Lopez Bautista.
“This partnership will enable us to create and deliver high-quality, holistic health educational content that will empower students to make informed choices about their overall well-being.”
“We believe this initiative will contribute significantly to creating healthier generations.”
AIA Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Henson emphasized the program’s mission of inclusivity and impact.
“The AIA Healthiest Schools program is designed to create a more inclusive environment that supports the health and well-being of students, in ways that are attainable, practical and sustainable for them,” Henson said.
“By joining forces with Knowledge Channel Foundation, we’re amplifying the program’s impact and ensuring that its vital lessons reach a wider audience.”
“We’re confident that this partnership will empower more students to take control of their health, well-being, and future.”
AIA Philippines is the local subsidiary of AIA Group, a Hong Kong-based insurance giant operating in 18 markets across the Asia-Pacific region.
Formerly Philam Life, AIA Philippines has long been involved in initiatives that integrate wellness with community development.
The partnership aligns with AIA’s Rethink Healthy campaign, which seeks to redefine health by focusing on prevention, awareness, and lifestyle improvements at every life stage.
KCFI, the country’s only free-to-air educational TV and cable channel, has over two decades of experience in producing curriculum-based multimedia content for Filipino learners.
Founded in 1999, KCFI works closely with the Department of Education and other partners to support public education through accessible and engaging learning materials.
The AIA Healthiest Schools partnership marks a significant step in delivering quality health education to the youth and instilling lifelong healthy habits early on.
