The Aklan Police Provincial Office (AkPPO) and the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) led the awardees in the recently concluded 28th Police Community Relations Month celebration.
Colonel Victorino Romanillos, AkPPO chief, and Colonel Joeresty Coronica, ICPO chief, formally received the award during the PCR Month culminating rites at the Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 in Camp Delgado, Iloilo City on Thursday.
Other unit awardees are:
* Bago City Component Police Station – Outstanding City Police Station;
* Kalibo Municipal Police Station – Outstanding Municipal Police Station (Class A)
* Culasi Municipal Police Station – Outstanding Municipal Police Station (Class B);
* Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RFMB) 6 – Outstanding Regional Mobile Force Battalion;
* 1st Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company – Outstanding Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Meanwhile, Colonel Jerome Afuyog, Capiz police chief, led individual awardees as Outstanding Police Community and Development (PCAD) Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO).
Also cited were:
* Lieutenant Anne Contreras – Outstanding PCAD Junior PCO;
* Senior Master Sergeant Agustin Alicante – Outstanding PCAD Senior PNCO;
* Staff Sergeant Mardi Car Reyes – Outstanding PCAD Junior PNCO; and
* NUP Rennie Baticos – Outstanding PCAD NUP.
Plaques of appreciation was also given to the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) 6 and the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development.
This year’s PCR Month celebration adopted the theme “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan.”
Aside from unit and individual awardees, PRO-6 also recognized the role of the community in upholding peace and order and security.
Special awards were given to Aklan Baghay Inc. was also hailed as the best stakeholder awardee.
