Colonel Ramir Perlito Perlas will be officially installed as the new Director of the Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO), succeeding Colonel Esmeralda Osia, Jr.

Perlas, who was born in Numancia town, Aklan, was the outgoing chief of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) at the Police Regional Office – Caraga Administrative Region.

After that, he was designated as Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) Operations Section Chief.

Meanwhile, Osia will be temporarily assigned to the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (RPHAU) in Camp Delgado, Iloilo City.

He left Aklan PPO after one year and 8 months of service.
