Aklan’s Fifth Most Wanted Man Arrested in Lezo

LEZO, AKLAN — A man listed as the fifth most wanted person in Aklan province was arrested on the afternoon of April 2 in Barangay Bugasongan, Lezo.

The suspect, identified only as alias Ralph, 42, was apprehended at his residence.

Operatives from the Lezo Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit, Regional Maritime Unit, and the Makato and Banga police stations, served the arrest warrant.

Ralph was wanted for robbery with homicide under Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code, docketed under Criminal Case No. 17749.

Judge Joebil Barrera Delmoro of the Regional Trial Court Branch 2 in Kalibo, Aklan issued the arrest warrant on March 25, 2025.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Ralph and an accomplice were accused of robbing a J&T delivery personnel.

He allegedly killed the victim, who also worked at the same courier company.

Capt. Gelbert Batiles, Lezo police chief, said the suspect fled after the incident but later decided to surrender.

His co-accused remains at large as of press time.

Ralph is now in police custody and will be turned over to the court.
