Aklan’s Most Wanted Man Arrested for Rape

The most wanted person in Aklan province was arrested on the afternoon of October 22 in Barangay Manika, Libacao, Aklan.

Alias Lito, a resident of Libacao town, was accused of rape.

Members of the Libacao Municipal Police Station arrested the suspect on rape charges.

No bail was recommended for his temporary release.

Meanwhile, another most wanted person was arrested on the evening of October 22 in San Remigio, Antique.

The 51-year-old, alias Johnny, was apprehended at his home in Barangay Gen. Fullon, San Remigio.

Members of the San Remigio Municipal Police Station, together with the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Unit (AnPPO-PIU), arrested the suspect under an arrest warrant for violating Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, docketed under Criminal Case No. 2024-09-11048.

Judge Jojo Cruz Cruzat of Regional Trial Court 6 (RTC-6) Branch 11 in San Jose, Antique, issued the arrest warrant and recommended bail of P120,000 for the suspect’s temporary release.

Alias Johnny is the fourth most wanted person in Antique.

Brigadier General Jack Wanky, Western Visayas police chief, commended the operating units for the successful arrests.

“I know how far you traveled to locate and apprehend this suspect. Your actions are a testament to your unwavering commitment to your sworn duty. Additionally, we appreciate the community’s support, which contributed to the successful arrest of this wanted person,” he said.
