The Antique PESO Association, Inc. and Antique Provincial Tripartite and Industrial Peace Council (PTIPC) elected its new set of officers and took their oath of office before Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)- 6 Regional Director Cyril L. Ticao.
The Antique PESO Association, Inc. is currently headed by Jayrick P. Candelario of PESO Caluya as president.
DOLE-RO No. 6 Antique Field Office Head, Melisa Navarra, chairs the Antique Provincial Tripartite and Industrial Peace Council with Vicente Lagunday as Vice Chair for Management and Riza May Tupino as Vice Chair for Labor.
In his speech, Ticao acknowledged the role of the two organizations as dynamic partners.
“We recognized the significant contributions of both organizations for their continued support and active involvement in the implementation of the various programs, projects and services of the Department in the Province of Antique even in the midst of the current pandemic.”
The two organizations are expected to face a tough challenge in generating jobs and employment to offset the impact of the pandemic.
PTIPC Chair Melissa Navarra is optimistic that the two organizations could support DOLE in the implementation of its program and services. “With the two organizations working hand in hand with DOLE, it is possible for the Department to achieve beyond its targets.”
