BDO Unibank Inc. continues to champion sustainability by financing 60 electric vehicle trucks for Mober, a pioneer in green logistics in the Philippines.

The financing enables Mober to expand its eco-friendly operations and reinforces BDO’s role in supporting sustainable business practices and electric mobility.

“BDO supports our fleet expansion, allowing us to take a significant step toward building a more sustainable logistics industry,” said Dennis Ng, CEO of Mober.

“We are dedicated to the advancement of sustainable business practices, helping enterprises transition toward a greener future,” said Charles M. Rodriguez, executive vice president and head of the Institutional Banking Group at BDO Unibank.

“By supporting initiatives that drive electric mobility and green logistics, we contribute to building a cleaner, more resilient economy,” he added.

BDO’s support reflects its commitment to green technology and long-term environmental sustainability.

By backing Mober’s EV truck acquisition, the bank is enabling the logistics firm to scale its operations while significantly reducing its carbon footprint.

As part of this expansion, Mober recently launched Central Charge, the country’s largest commercial EV charging facility, located in Pasay City.

Driving the Future of Green Transport. BDO’s Charles Rodriguez powers up one of the electric trucks funded by BDO at the launch of Mober Central Charge, strengthening BDO’s support for eco-friendly mobility in the country.

Spanning 3,000 square meters, the hub features 56 charging ports and can power up to 200 EV trucks daily through a structured three-shift system.

Designed to support a mixed fleet of e-vans and e-trucks, the facility ensures 24/7 operations and caters to Mober’s major clients, including Ikea, SM Appliances, Nestlé Philippines and Maersk.

Strategically positioned near key commercial zones in Metro Manila, Mober Central Charge is expected to improve delivery efficiency while promoting greener supply chains.

With this partnership, BDO further strengthens its sustainable finance portfolio, which includes programs supporting renewable energy and low-carbon initiatives.

The bank continues to encourage businesses and financial institutions to embrace environmentally responsible strategies for long-term growth and climate resilience.
