PBA team Blackwater Elite expressed their willingness to play once again and represent the country in the East Asia Super League, Terrific 12.

Coming up short last year, Blackwater is already eyeing a Terrific 12 comeback, with team owner Dioceldo Sy saying it would be an honor to once again set foot in Macau and hoop with the most experienced ball clubs from China, Japan, and South Korea.

However, with the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, some teams are still hesitant to join, with the prized tournament initially planned on September 15-20.

Tournament chief executive officer Matt Beyer recently announced that the Terrific 12 management is now on its polishing stage of their execution despite the pandemic.

Also, Beyer assured all the teams and ballclub organizations that they will be implementing the much-needed safety measures to ensure the health of everyone who will be participating.

“I would be more than willing to help and support the Terrific 12. This will provide people some respite during this crisis and help them slowly get back to normalcy,” said Sy.
