Letran Knights’ men’s basketball team head coach Bonnie Tan isn’t taking a rest despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fresh off their NCAA Season 95 championship win against the heavily-favored San Beda Red Lions, coach Tan is digitizing its way of recruiting players for his basketball squad after the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) halted their basketball operations.

Coach Tan posted an online advertisement dedicated to student-athletes and their agents with content telling them to email him their profile, contact details, gaining plus points if the athlete manages to send a video of him playing.

The Facebook page Do Not Fear Only Believe and coach Tan’s email, bonnie_t_tan@yahoo.com, were designated as the official channels where players and agents can send their submissions.

With the cancellation of the team’s supposed travel to Japan as part of their training camp in their title defense in the upcoming Season 96, coach Tan said he will be focusing more on filling in the holes left by his injured and graduating players.

To strengthen their case for a back-to-back title run, coach Tan added that he will be needing a solid new group of guys to improve their depth.

“That is why we are still open to adding more players since no one is a lock in our lineup yet. I guarantee that the new recruits will be treated the same as our holdovers,” said coach Tan.
