The Boston Celtics showed no signs of slowing down and are still on a roll after a demolition exhibition on the Brooklyn Nets, 136-86, in the ongoing NBA regular season last February 15, 2024.

With the victory, the Celtics just extended its winning streak to six straight games and got the better of Brooklyn for the second consecutive night.

Boston didn’t need any warm-ups as they immediately ended the first 12 minutes of action with a 15-point lead, 30-15, led by their fluid offensive execution.

The Celtics welcomed the return of their superstar stretch big man Kristaps Porzingis who quickly scored 12 markers in the opening frame.

Despite early buckets from the Nets to start the second quarter, the Celtics came right back with a huge rally midway in the frame and capped off the last seven minutes with a three-point party hosted by Derrick White.

White was unconscious from downtown and steered Boston to one of its highest-scoring quarters in the ongoing season with 38 points alone in the second quarter.

It was still all Boston in the second half as they outscored Brooklyn by 10 points, 33-23, in the third, forcing the Nets to throw in the white towel early in the final frame.

Payton Pritchard was the top-scorer for the Celtics as the backup point guard dropped 28 points, four rebounds, and three assists in the convincing win.

Meanwhile, White, who became their money man during that fiery first-half run, tallied 27 points built from a 5/10 shooting from the three-point line.

Jayson Tatum continued his consistent performance and chipped in an all-around effort of 20 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.

The Celtics will look to secure its seventh straight win on February 23, 2024, against their Eastern Conference rivals Chicago Bulls.
