Brownouts on July 6 and 7

Bacolod City- The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on July 6 (Saturday) and 7 (Sunday).

This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:

 

July 6, 2019

Reasons:

  • Extension of 11 span 3-phase primary line, installation of three 15kVa privately-owned distribution transformer with its accessories and installation of secondary metering;
  • Conversion of 17 spans vee-phase to 3-phase primary line at Greenhills Memorial Park, Purok Villa Villeta, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City; and
  • Tree Clearing at Purok Villa Villeta to Greenhills Memorial Park.

 

Time: 5am to 8am

Areas Affected: TF1 North Side areas from Talisay substation to highway along Magsaysay Road, TUP, Talisay High School (RBLMHS), Talisay Elem. School, Talisay Water District, Carmela Valley Homes, TESDA, CENECO sub-office, Zone 4A, Zone 2, Catabla, Baricutot, GamboaSubd.,San Lorenzo Subd.,New City Hall, Villa Carmela, Sitio Mambukog, Sitio Nacab, Hda. BuenRetiro, Sitio Bubog, Kooll Co. Inc., St. Paul Village

 

Time: 8am to 4pm

Areas Affected:       BF3 (portion only) areas along Burgos Extension National Highway (lateral near Evangelical Church), Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City

 

July 7, 2019

Reasons:

  • Change oil of 30MVA power transformer at Murcia substation, Hacienda Puyas, Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia; and
  • Replacement of rotten poles and line clearing covering Murcia Feeders 1 and 2.

 

Time: 6am to 6pm

Areas Affected:

MUF1 Prk. Manayaosayao, Canlaon View Subd., Tanduay, Proper Blumentritt

MUF2 Marian Missionaries, Hda. Josefa II, Hda. Olive 2, Had. Jovelanos, Binitin, Candongon, Cansilayan, Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto, the whole municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto. Brgy. Lopez Jaena to Mambucal, Hda. Electricity consumers are further advised that in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.

When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
