BACOLOD City – Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), revealed on Tuesday that Cadiz City Police Station was adjudged as outstanding city police station in the field of Police Community Relations (PCR) this year.

Police Major Roberto Mansueto, chief of Cadiz City Police Station received a plaque of recognition from Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, along with Senator Grace Poe during the culmination of the 24th PCR month celebration at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on July 29.

Baleros said “this proves the dedication of the PNP in Negros Occidental is being acknowledged by the PNP leadership and of the public.”

Baleros said the police station bested all city police stations nationwide.  The police station was recommended by the regional headquarters as representative from the province, he added.

Baleros said they were recognized for their continuous community-related activities like information campaign against criminalities and illegal drugs.

It shows how they were also appreciated by the community, he added.

Baleros encouraged other PNP units in the province to exert more effort and also achieve the same not just for the recognition but most importantly to gain the appreciation of the public regarding their efforts to sustain peace and order in the community.
