BACOLOD City – Possible.
This was how former Bacolod councilor Ricardo “Cano” Tan reacted to reports that a Campuestohan Highland Resort will rise here.
Tan developed the Campuestohan Highland Resort in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, which is one of the biggest and famous resorts in the province.
Speculations on the possibility of developing the same resort here recently circulated when reports came out that he reportedly bought a property or an old resort in Barangay Punta Taytay.
The village is popular for its beach resorts.
Although he did not confirm or deny it, Tan said he can help the city in such a way.
“Puwede guro, hulata na lang ah,” Tan said, as he refused to further comment about it.
Tan during a press briefing at the resort on Sunday, recalled that when he started to think of developing the resort in Talisay City, some would tell him it was an impossible mission.
“Now it has become a crown jewel of tourist attraction not just in the province, but in the whole country,” he said.
Tan recently faced the public after two years of keeping his distance from the public eye, following the ambush in December 2018.
Upon surfacing to the public, he revealed that he was already cleared from any links in illegal drugs citing a clearance from the Police Regional Office-6 after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered for the validation and re-validation of the allegations against him.
