ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ — More than 300 members of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) tested negative for illegal drug use.

Police Capt. Merry Chris Dela Cruz, CPPO spokesperson, said all 311 members of the CPPO drug enforcement team passed a recent random drug test.

The test was conducted on March 25, 2025.

Police Col. Albert Tapulao, CPPO director, expressed satisfaction with the results.

“It shows that the CPPO, particularly its operatives, are clean from illegal drug use,” Tapulao said.

He reminded all CPPO personnel to stay away from illegal drugs, stressing that police officers should serve as role models for the public.
