Head coach of the Alaska Aces, Jeff Cariaso, mounted his donation drive for PBA personnel up to 800,000 pesos.

Cariaso’s main goal is to help the non-regular PBA employees receive the financial assistance they need due to the PBA suspending its games because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the stoppage of the PBA games, the non-regular employees’ salaries also were brought to a hold.

Fellow PBA family including coaches and players were quick to join Cariaso’s drive and pledged to help him and in just a matter of two weeks, reached the 800k mark.

Along with Cariaso, Alaska owner Wilfred Uytengsu, PBA players like Chris Ross, Cliff Hodge, and CJ Perez helped in the donation drive.

All in all, 42 PBA personalities lent their support to Cariaso, and they are: Kevin Alas, coach Franco Atienza, Kris Atienza, MJ Ayaay, Richard Bachmann, Mark Barroca, Aaron and coach Norman Black, Blackwater Elite, Harvey Carey, JV Casio, coach Aboy Castro, coach Tim Cone, Jericho Cruz, Mike Digregorio, Tony Dela Cruz, Joe Devance, Poy Erram, June Mar Fajardo, Abel Galiguez, Monch Gavieres, Sol Mercado, Gabe Norwood, Jason Perkins, Von Pessumal, Marc Pingris, Stanley Pringle, coach Olsen Racela, Nikko Ramos, JC Reyes, Troy Rosario, Nico Salva, Jeron Teng, Sonny Thoss, team manager Paolo Trillo, Kiko and Dom Tuason, and Dominic Uy.

“It’s been awesome the last two weeks with many supporting the cause. Small way of giving those within our own industry some help during this time,” said Cariaso.
