Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, honored its top-performing travel agencies in the recently concluded 19th Eagle Wings Awards on March 11, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Iloilo City.
The Eagle Wings Awards is an annual event that recognizes the achievements and dedication of CEB’s travel agent partners in helping drive the airline’s success. This year, a total of 52 agencies from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates were conferred with an Eagle Wings award.
“Each of you plays a crucial role in expanding travel opportunities, connecting people to new destinations, and enriching experiences for countless passengers. You’re a driving force behind every journey, every reunion, and every new chapter that begins with a flight,” Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer, told the awardees in his speech during the awarding ceremony.
In appreciation of their support, CEB also hosted a social night for its travel agent partners on March 12, 2025, co-presented by the Tourism Promotions Board, giving them an opportunity to meet and connect with fellow agents and celebrate the success of the awards.
“None of these achievements would have been possible without your unwavering dedication and support. Your hard work and commitment have played a crucial role in shaping unforgettable travel experiences for our passengers. You are not just our partners; you are an essential part of Cebu Pacific’s success story,” Arlene Tena, CEB Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution, told the travel agents.
Iloilo City was selected as the venue of this year’s Eagle Wings Awards reflecting its significance as one of CEB’s growing hubs. From this station alone, CEB operates flights to 14 destinations, including its recently launched international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore. The airline is also set to launch flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang from Iloilo on March 31.
Building on this development, CEB, in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board and the Department of Tourism Region VI, facilitated a Business-to-Business (B2B) session with 20 local stakeholders from Iloilo. This event served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exploration of potential business opportunities within the industry.
CEB continues to operate the widest domestic network in the Philippines as it flies to 37 domestic destinations. The airline also flies to 26 international destinations, with options to fly direct from Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Davao.
