CESAFI receives 5k pcs of dressed chicken from Chooks-to-Go

After the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) announced that they will officially cancel their 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. vowed to donate 5,000 dressed chickens to all participating schools.

Bounty president, Ronald Mascariñas, announced that he already ordered the shipment of the chickens which will be sent to Cebu Eastern College, Cebu Institute of Technology University, Don Bosco Technical College, Southwestern University PHINMA, University of Cebu (Lapu-Lapu & Mandaue), University of San Carlos, University of San Jose Recoletos, University of Southern Philippines Foundation, University of the Visayas, and Sacred Heart School, Ateneo de Cebu.

Aside from the schools, the CESAFI officials, referees, coaches, ballboys, security guards, utility teams, and venue personnel were also given dressed chickens.

“We admire the efforts of CESAFI management in looking after the welfare of athletes and officials during this most difficult time. They are truly an inspiration,” said Mascariñas.

The CESAFI league announced that they will try to recover from the losses they obtained this pandemic and will be planning to stage their next season in 2021.

“The CESAFI is truly grateful and blessed at this pleasant surprise from Mr. Ronald Mascariñas. We are thankful for his generosity,” said CESAFI commissioner, Felix Tiukinhoy.
