ILOILO CITY – The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo is leading another trailblazing initiative that will bring more ease and convenience to its patient partners with the launching of Western Visayas’ first hospital-based online scheduling application on September 12.

Coined as “CheckApp”, the said web-based application lets both existing and future patients of TMC Iloilo easily set an appointment with their doctors at Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), the hospital’s outpatient department (OPD).

The  app displays the time and date of doctors’ availability so that patients can easily book their visit to their doctors ahead of time.

“With CheckApp, patients will no longer need to call for reservation and wait for long hours at the OPD for their queues as they will already have guaranteed slots once they schedule using CheckApp,” TMC Iloilo Chief Marketing Officer Prince Juliene Hermaine Celo said.

To set an appointment using CheckApp, patients will just have to follow three easy steps – click, book and visit.

  • Click – go to www.booking.themedicalcityiloilo.com or download Check App on Google Play Store for free. Then, sign up to register.
  • Book – search for your doctor in the list and choose the schedule that you prefer to visit your doctor. Wait for the notification from The Medical City Iloilo Ambulatory Care Center via call, text or email for the confirmation of your chosen schedule.
  • Visit – go to TMC Iloilo Ambulatory Care Center an hour before your approved schedule time and date of visit to avoid cancellation of your appointment. “CheckApp is TMC Iloilo’s response to the call of the industry for digitalization as we aim to level up patient experience and elevate patient partnership by providing our patients ease and convenience even at setting an appointment with their doctors,” said TMC Iloilo Chief Executive Officer Dr. Felix Ray Villa.

“We understand how precious time is to everyone. With this app, we cut down waiting time in our outpatient department and we give our patients the options to schedule their visit ahead of time,” Dr. Villa added.

CheckApp is also available for free download on Google Play.
