After a five-game losing skid, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans is finally back to their winning ways after showing heart and resiliency against the Chef’s Classics Lady Red Spikers in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

Choco Mucho took five sets to dispatch the Lady Red Spikers with the whole team responding after sensing urgency.

Kat Tolentino was unstoppable as she contributed 36 big points that lifted the team’s offense over the Chef’s Classics’ net and floor defense.

In the opening sets, the Lady Red Spikers easily read Choco Mucho’s net defense, placing the ball to the open area for easy points.

Momentum shifted as Tolentino launched a barrage of hard spikes that left the Chef’s Classics’ defense guessing soon as the ball was set for the latter’s attacks.

AC Masangkay fed the Flying Titans’ attackers pretty well after dishing out 44 excellent sets while Bang Pineda controlled the floor defense with 25 digs and 11 receptions.

With the victory, the Flying Titans are now in a 3-6 win-loss record.
