Chooks-to-Go is continuing its support of startup leagues after inking a partnership deal with the newest professional basketball league in the Philippines, the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.
The Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc.-owned company will serve as the league’s title sponsor for their first-ever pro season.
President Ronald Masariñas of Chooks-to-Go did not think twice in lending his help to the Regional basketball league, citing his roots growing up in Mindanao.
“Growing up in Mindanao, it has always been my dream to have sports leagues based in our region. We always believed that there are a lot of undiscovered talents in both Mindanao and Visayas,” said Mascariñas who is a Butuan-native.
The Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup Visayas leg will kick off today at 4:00 PM where the MJAS Zenith-Talisay City Aquastars will take on the Tubigon Bohol Mariners followed by the clash between the KCS Computer Specialist-Mandaue and the Siquijor Mystics at 7:00 PM.
Also out there to show their skills are the Tabogon Voyagers, the ARQ Builders-Lapu-Lapu Heroes, and the Dumaguete Warriors to complete the Visayas leg.
“We all know that Sir Ronald came from Butuan and we have seen his passion to grow sports in our region. We are grateful to him and Chooks-to-Go for not only supporting our vision but also opening his league to our teams,” said League Chief Operating Officer Rocky Chan.
