CitiHardware, one of the leading and fastest growing construction retail stores in the country, has officially opened the doors of its fourth and “largest” store in Iloilo at Barangay Sambag, Jaro, Iloilo City on June 23.
The grand opening of its newest store coincided with CitiHardware’s celebration of two significant milestones: its 20th anniversary in Iloilo City and 25th anniversary since its humble beginnings as a small store in Bajada, Davao City in 1998.
With the addition of the Barangay Sambag branch, the Davao-grown business now operates four stores in Iloilo, including those in Oton, Mandurriao, and Brgy. Buntatala, Jaro.
“We are now on our 20th year here in Western Visayas, and since the inception […] we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from the Iloilo and Panay communities. Kung wala kamo, wala man kami,” said CitiHardware area manager Rafael Rafinian.
Looking to the future, as CitiHardware continues to expand its presence across the nation, the company’s aspiration is for more CitiHardware stores nationwide. Rafinian emphasized that “the CitiHardware team will collectively strive to progress.”
CitiHardware is poised to serve millions of Filipinos in building their homes wisely and easily with a target of 100 stores nationwide by the fourth quarter of 2023.
The inauguration of the newest store in Iloilo marks CitiHardware’s 94th store in operation, signifying the company’s commitment to delivering “innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality products” and services to its growing customer base.
