City, prov’l police chiefs cited for ‘exemplary performance’

All city and provincial police directors and the group commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion in Western Visayas were recognized for “demonstrating exemplary performance as unit commanders.”

Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo, Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6), led the recognition rites during Monday’s flag raising activity at PRO-6 headquarters at Camp Martin Teofilo Delgado in Iloilo City.

The activity was also graced by Governor Arthur R. Defensor, Jr. of Iloilo province.

The awardees are:

* Colonel Leo Batiles – Iloilo City Police Office;

* Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir – Bacolod City Police Office;

* Colonel Leo Pamittan – Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office;

* Colonel Adrian Acollador – Iloilo Police Provincial Office;

* Colonel Richard Baluis – Guimaras Police Provincial Office;

* Colonel Winston de Belen – Capiz Police Provincial Office;

* Colonel Alexander Mariano – Antique Police Provincial Office;

* Colonel Crisaleo Tolentino – Aklan Police Provincial Office; and

* Lieutenant Colonel Joel Garcia – Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6

The recognition was to acknowledge their contribution, as well as their unit, after the PRO-6 regional director attained the number 1 rank in the overall PNP’s rating in the Individual Commanders Performance Evaluation Rating for the month of April 2022.

In his message, Defensor underscored the importance of close collaboration between the local government unit and the PNP to achieve a progressive province.

The governor also reaffirmed the strong relationship between the provincial government of Iloilo and police force in Western Visayas.

He also emphasized the significant role of the PNP in ensuring peace and order and public safety in the entire province.

“Ensuring the security and safety of the citizens, investors and businesses are instrumental in attaining the goals of the province for its people,” Defensor said.

He also attended the groundbreaking ceremony on the improvement of PRO-6 Road Networks.

The proposed road improvement inside Camp Delgado l has an area of 5,216 square meters.
