BACOLOD City – Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital medical center chief Dr. Julius Drilon said the hospital’s COVID-19 beds are now occupied.

In an advisory posted on Facebook, Drilon said the hospital will temporarily refuse to accept COVID-19 except for extreme cases.

Apart from COVID-19 patients, three wards are occupied by 26 hospital staff who were also infected with the virus.

“As much as we intend to serve every COVID-19 patient needing hospital care, the hospital management advises the public to avail such services from other hospitals within the province,” Drilon said.

“CLMMRH would like to emphasize that COVID-19 disease is a public health concern that needs the cooperation of everyone to mitigate its spread in our locality.”
