Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) has officially changed its legal name to Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Inc. (CCEAP), marking a new chapter in its operations.

The name change follows the February 23, 2024, announcement of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Plc (CCEP) and Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. (AEV) completing their acquisition of the company. The change has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

“This new name represents an exciting new phase in our journey as we reaffirm our commitment to serving our customers, supporting our people and communities, and driving long-term growth for the country,” said Gareth McGeown, President and CEO of CCEAP.

He emphasized Coca-Cola’s long-standing presence in the Philippines, which spans 113 years, and the company’s dedication to continuing its legacy.

“We look forward to another hundred years of refreshing our consumers and making a difference through our Great People, Great Beverages, Great Execution, and Great Partners — Done Sustainably,” McGeown said.

The unveiling of the new company name took place at Coca-Cola’s Canlubang Plant and was attended by key leaders, including Aboitiz Group President and CEO Sabin Aboitiz, CCEP Vice President and General Manager for Australia, Pacific, and Southeast Asia Peter West, and CCEAP Supply Chain Vice President Frank Garcia.
