BACOLOD City – Three persons, including a college student, were busted with 72 grams of suspected shabu worth P489,000 at Purok Lubi, Barangay 3 here last Wednesday.

Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested the subject identified as Jimmy Cordova, 31, and his two alleged drug runners – Wilfrando Francia, 60, and Michael Ababa, 22, a student, all residents of the said barangay.

Captain Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said that Cordova was subjected to a buy-bust operation after they received reports last month about his alleged illegal activity in the area.
