It took only 40 seconds for The Notorious to announce he was back.

Swaying side to side, Conor McGregor surveyed Donald Cerrone’s movements.

Noticing an open hit on the left side of Cerrone’s head, McGregor unleashed a huge head kick that wobbled Cerrone, gasping for air.

It was the beginning of the end for Cerrone as McGregor quickly pounced on his opponent with a flurry of punches that sent the cowboy down to the canvas, trying desperately to defend himself.

After a few seconds, referee Herb Dean stepped in and stopped the fight, holding Cerrone who was covered with blood and knocked out in just 40 seconds of the first round in UFC 246.

The thousands in attendance were up on their feet applauding the Irish slugger with another masterpiece and technical performance.

It was as if McGregor never left, showing off his quick reflexes and deadly strikes.

The technical knockout McGregor scored was a statement to the league, with McGregor reiterating that he has always been a predator looking for prey in his post-match interview with Joe Rogan.
